“Jackson”
Ch.
Gilja’s Tailored Jive In Java
(Ch.
Gilja’s Carolina Tailored, CGC x Gilja’s Tailored
Starlet, ROM)
Bred by: Jane F. Cole
With the help of his good friend, Peggy O’Brien, Jackson completed his championship at the tender age of 8 ½ months with 3 majors (2 four point and 1 five point). Jackson has such a sweet disposition but is sometimes just too smart! His favorite activity is to jump onto my bed and check out what’s on my dresser. Then he jumps up against the dresser and uses his foot to reach up and paw off the item of his desire. Jackson competed at the Westminister Kennel Club show in New York City in February 2006. He also represented the Non-Sporting Group on the CBS Saturday Morning Show the Saturday before the Westminster show.
Jackson has a beautiful head, good bone and is a great moving dog with an incredible rear. Note his beautiful brindle color. Eyes and patellas are normal. Jackson has puppies currently being shown.

Bred by: Jane F. Cole
Java is my heart. He did his best to fill the gap left when Taylor died. He’s my constant companion and guardian. Java started out as my son’s dog and was given the name “Java” by him. One of my son’s favorite places is a coffee house called Jackson’s Java in Charlotte, NC. Java finished his championship from the Bred By Exhibitor Class with two 3 point majors and one 5 point major. Java’s retired now. Java celebrated his 10th birthday on December 27, 2009.
Java has trained in agility and obedience although we’ve never competed in those venues. Java does hold the Canine Good Citizen certificate from AKC. He is a great moving dog with strong rear and is incredibly athletic. Eyes and patellas are normal. Java has sired one litter of puppies which produced two champions.

“Lance”

Ch. Gilja’s Tailored Tradition
(Ch.
Renea’s Tresamee of Chahary x Gilja’s Tailored Starlet,
ROM)
Bred by: Jane F. Cole
Lance is a stunning black and white male who completed his championship from the Bred By Exhibitor class. Lance was Best of Breed/Best in Specialty Show at the 2008 Heartland Boston Terrier Club show where he was expertly handled by Paul Catterson. (See a picture of his win at www.heartlandbostonterrierclub.org. ) Along with his daughter, Reba, Lance was invited to compete in the first ever Boston Terrier of the Year Contest at the 2009 Boston Terrier Club of America National Specialty Show held in Connecticut.
He is siring champion offspring and has one Best in Specialty Show winning daughter (Reba) who took a group placement from the Bred By Exhibitor class over specials and has gone on to other group placements. He was invited to the Eukanuba/AKC national show in 2006 and 2007.
Lance’s most special attributes are his beautiful dark ROUND eyes and his good movement and strong rear. Eyes and patellas are normal.
And, yes, Lance was named for Lance Armstrong—another great winner and incredible athletic.

Tailored Trademark

Renea’s Tresamee of Chahary x Gilja’s Tailored Starlet,

Bred by: Jane F. Cole
Markus is just the sweetest boy. He had a couple of bad eye injuries after I trimmed his whiskers to show him. So, I stopped trimming his whiskers and he took all his points with his injured eye and full whiskers. Thanks to the judges who weren’t distracted by those two things and who saw what a handsome guy he is. Weighing in at 24 pounds, they definitely couldn’t overlook him!!! Markus is a nice mover with a good front and beautiful head and ear set.

“Andy”

Rodonnas Caus’n A Comotion
Bred
by: Donna Cole
Andy was a special gift to me from Jerry Northcutt. Jerry bought Andy from Donna Cole of Rodonna Bostons. He’s a small brindle of around 12-13 pounds. Andy has had several eye injuries, but prior to them, he was cleared normal. Finishing with 3 majors was quite an accomplishment for Andy, considering he hated showing. Loved being at the show, but the second he stepped into the ring, his head went down and he let everyone know that he didn’t want to be there. In spite of that he often went from the classes over specials. Needless to say, once he finished, he was retired except for a couple of appearances at the Boston Terrier Club of America National Show.
Andy will soon be 11 years old.

Renea’s Beetle Bailey

Bred by: Byron

What
can I say about Beetle? He is just the sweetest little dog and my
snuggle buddy. Thanks to Gloria Payne for letting Beetle join our
family. My granddaughter, Becky (age 14 at the time) went to her
first show with Beetle, walked in the ring with him and took a 4
point major. Becky and Beetle were like an unstoppable force of
nature. They went on to take a 5 point major against professional
handlers, then another 4 point major. Imagine how proud I was the day
that Becky finished Beetle’s championship requirements.
Beetle is 11-12 pounds and is just a very nicely put together little Boston. Beetle has been quite the little stud and has produced many beautiful litters and has produced four litters that were freewhelped!!!! So far, all his pups have been beautifully marked. He moves well and his eyes and patellas are normal.

“Jesse”
International,
National and AKC Champion Gilja’s Tailored For Barron
(Ch.
Corky’s Tailored To Taste x Int’l & Am. Ch.
Tuckaway’s Sassy Suzi)
Bred by: Jane F. Cole
There
is only one Jesse!!! What a character! Jesse is co-owned by Ann Palko
of Holly Springs, NC. He’s the only Boston that I’ve ever
had to jump onto the examination table. The day that he completed his
championship, he was absolutely determined to win—he jumped
onto the examination table, immediately went into a perfect show
stance and turned and eyeballed the judge. The judge and the
spectators all laughed—and Jesse won!
Jesse recently lost his “big brother” and protector, Barron. Barron was Ann’s rottweiller and was the most gentle of dogs. At age 12, Barron recently lost a battle with lung cancer. Barron was much loved by Jesse, Ann, Mike, and all who knew him.

Dillon and Elizabeth love playing chase in the backyard, but when they come in the house, they’re both cuddly lap dogs. Eyes and patellas normal.
