Jerry Lee was my comfort when I was dealing with my broken leg and at the same time the illness and loss of my Java.  He watched over his old friend, Java.   What a loving compassionate little guy he is!

Jerry Lee is our current “super star”.  He is currently the #13 ranked Boston Terrier in the USA.   Jerry Lee won Best in Show Owner Handler at the Greater Orange Park Dog Club in Elkton, Florida!!!  He won Best In Specialty Show at the Greater Atlanta Boston Terrier Club Specialty Show and has multiple group placements.  Jerry Lee is an awesome show dog and has a lovely sweet temperament but is definitely a mama’s boy!

At Jerry Lee’s first show, he wouldn’t walk on the lead, so we patiently worked with him the rest of the afternoon.  The next morning, he walked on the lead and walked off with a 4 pt. major.  The following weekend, he picked up two 3 pt. majors and one 4 pt. major.  His next show weekend, he finished with another 4 pt. major.

He went to the Boston Terrier Club of America National Show in Reno and had an incredible few days there.  The first day, he won the 9-12 month puppy sweepstakes class and then won the Bred By Exhibitor class while his littermate, Cash (Ch. Gilja’s Easy On The Cash) won the 9-12 month class.  These two brothers had a great time in Reno–especially strutting around in their new bling bling collars!!!

After a short absence from the ring, he went back and rapidly completed the requirements for his Grand Championship.  He’s since picked up the Silver and is well on his way to a Gold level Grand Championship.  Jerry Lee was invited to the Boston Terrier of the Year event at the Boston Terrier Club of America National Show in May 2014.  We had a wonderful time together showing off to Jerry Lee’s theme song, “Great Balls O’Fire” by Jerry Lee Lewis.  Jerry Lee was so excited when he heard “his” song starting to play that he was bouncing before we entered the ring.  I had to run to keep up with Jerry Lee as he charged into the ring!

Jerry Lee and Puddin are the proud parents of their first offspring, a beautiful daughter, Barbara Ann.   Barbara Ann is now a champion!!  Jerry Lee also has a beautiful son and daughter out of Beccy Smith’s Hillary.  Deb and Matt Estell’s Roseanna just had a gorgeous son and daughter by Jerry Lee.

“Cameron”

Ch. Gilja’s Oomocks Proud 2B An American

Gilja’s American Tailored x Q-T’s Phyllis Blackie

Bred by:  Christine Smith and Jane F. Cole

Cameron

Cameron finished his championship just a few days after he turned 9 months old.  And at nine months, he’s well on his way to his Grand Championship.  Thanks to Christine Smith who sent her Phyllis to be bred to my Bedford.  Bedford was nine years old at the time and had never been bred–unfortunately.  This litter produced four beautiful brindle pups, 3 males and 1 female — all free whelped.  And we just recently lost our beautiful Bedford, so I am so grateful to Christine that I have such an outstanding Bedford son to help heal our hearts.

Cameron and Priscilla are the proud parents of two beautiful girls!  Can’t wait to see these girls in the ring!

Jackson”

Ch. Gilja’s Tailored Jive In Java
(Ch. Gilja’s Carolina Tailored, CGC x Gilja’s Tailored Starlet, ROM)
Bred by: Jane F. Cole

Jackson completed his championship at the tender age of 8 ½ months with 3 majors (2 four point and 1 five point). Jackson has such a sweet disposition but is sometimes just too smart! His favorite activity is to jump onto my bed and check out what’s on my dresser. Then he jumps up against the dresser and uses his foot to reach up and paw off the item of his desire. Jackson competed at the Westminister Kennel Club show in New York City in February 2006. He also represented the Non-Sporting Group on the CBS Saturday Morning Show the Saturday before the Westminster show.

Jackson has a beautiful head, good bone and is a great moving dog with an incredible rear. Note his beautiful brindle color. Eyes and patellas are normal. Jackson is the sire of Ch. Gilja’s Tailored To Rock N Roll aka Jagger.

Markus”
Ch.Gilja’s Tailored Trademark
(Ch. Renea’s Tresamee of Chahary x Gilja’s Tailored Starlet, ROM)
Bred by: Jane F. Cole

Markus is just the sweetest boy. He had a couple of bad eye injuries after I trimmed his whiskers to show him. So, I stopped trimming his whiskers and he took all his points with his injured eye and full whiskers. Thanks to the judges who weren’t distracted by those two things and who saw what a handsome guy he is. Weighing in at 24 pounds, they definitely couldn’t overlook him!!! Markus is a nice mover with a good front and beautiful head and ear set.  Markus has champion offspring.

Dillon”
Ch. Gilja’s Stars N Stripes
(Ch. Renea’s Beetle Bailey x Gann’s Abilene)
Bred By: Jane F. Cole

Dillon finished from the Bred By Exhibitor class and had his invitation to the Eukanuba/AKC National Championship show in 2007 and 2008. He’s a sweet natured 15 pound dark brindle. Dillon and Elizabeth loved playing chase in the backyard, but when they came in the house, they were both cuddly lap dogs. Eyes and patellas normal. Dillon now lives with Ann and Mike Palko.
